A Biotin deficiency causes hair loss and scaly skin. Good sources of biotin are:
Beans
Brown Rice
Shellfish and Sardines
Dark, green vegetables
Whole grains
Please note biotin cannot cure baldness, but will prevent those bad hair days. Ingesting raw egg whites wipes out your biotin supply. Avoid eggnog, Ceasar salad and home-made mayo. Best to eat cooked eggs.
