Hair Loss – Eating Right To Prevent It



A Biotin deficiency causes hair loss and scaly skin. Good sources of biotin are:
Brown Rice
Shellfish and Sardines
Dark, green vegetables
Whole grains

Please note – biotin cannot ‘cure’ baldness, but will prevent those bad hair days. Ingesting raw egg whites wipes out your biotin supply. Avoid eggnog, Ceasar salad and home-made mayo. Best to eat cooked eggs.
