Secrets of Success

Coffee @ Home

It took motivation to stay in the outside line on my way to work as I drove by the two coffee drive thru's for a few weeks. But making my coffee at home before I go (a la travel mug) and/or at work has been a huge money saver. I'm saving over $900/yr!

  • I've done this for years as well. I just can't bring myself to spend money on coffee. I take a thermos to work too. The iced coffee is a good idea too. My mom did that and I've thought of it.... getting a new fridge this week where my freezer should actually work so I'll try that. - by BZYMOM65
  • With all the options for flavorings & creamers, you can really 'dress it up' and it will still save you money (and fat/calories, since you control exactly what goes in it! opt for the sugar-free or low fat options of add-ins) - by RUBYRED04
  • I like to use the leftover coffee in iced coffee, just make ice cubes of coffee and it will not be diluted when the ice melts. emoticon - by TEDDYTEDDY
