Secrets of Success

Cancel That Road Rage!

Recently I opted to say a short prayer for drivers whenever they do something to annoy me. It instantly relaxes me and helps me to see them in a positive way.

More Information:

Unbelievably, I have been able to do it 100% of the time. No more honking or snide remarks under my breath!

  • I wrote this exactly six months ago. The interesting thing is I find myself praying more for myself in these situations than I do for the others. I have come to realize that often it is actually my stress or lack of patience that causes me to react the way I do. Hmmm.

  • We were in a traffic jam today as we traveled. Instead of getting impatient like I normally do, I prayed for those who were no doubt in the accident ahead of us. That certainly puts a new light on ones reactions.
