Secrets of Success

Kitty Condo'S

Instead of spending hard earned cash on expensive kitty condo's make your own. Use boxes, paperbags, and toys to create your cats own little heaven. It's cheap and you can add or replace parts as you want with no additional cost.

More Information:

I usually use the full box's that the canned cat food comes in and any other box's I can find. I also use the bags cat food comes in to make the crinkly tunnels that cats love. All you need to hold it together is some tape and patience!

I figured out the same thing! I belong to Sam's, and we put all of our groceries in the boxes they have available at the register! Since we have to figure out what to do with the boxes until at least trash day, we just let the cat play in them! There's only one that sticks around - all others go out on trash day! He loves to hide in there...jump out to scare us & such! He's put most of his toys in that box too, pulled out of his tent, which we bought a couple of years ago! - by FIEVEL96
  • isn't that a great idea for kittu - by MITEV111
I have two cats and they definitely enjoy their toys. It is so entertaining to watch them play together, wrestle and chase each other around the house. So much energy!!! - by SHASUN
  • What an excellent idea! Heaven knows, I've thrown enough $$$ away on cat toys that they no longer play with~ boxes, newspaper, and brown paper bags are much preferred. Thanks for the great idea for a kitty condo! ;) - by TEXASFILLY
