Intervals On The Elliptical



Try the interval program on the elliptical trainer. For 5 months I used the elliptical regularly in the 1 to 3 resistance level. I didn't think I could do more. Then I tried the interval program. I not only could I do it, but I burned far more calories than in the weight loss mode.

More Information:

The interval program I use goes from level 3 to level 7 resistance. I use a stride of 26.

  • I love the interval setting on the elliptical! You can "notch it up" as you get used to it to make more progress, and yes, it burns tons of calories!! - by SHAWFAN
  • This machiene scared the crap out of me at first, but I was able to go from level 1 for 15 min to level 3 for 25 mins in just a week. Mainly because I had never used a machiene before to work out so it took a few days to build us to a comfortable level of exertion without going overboard. - by BRANDEVIGIL
