Secrets of Success

No Shame In Loving The Points

When I'm not seeing the results I want on the scale, I depend on the points I get to make me feel like I've accomplished something! Maybe I didn't lose a pound, but by trying to get as many points as possible I know I'm doing something right. Plus, trophies!

It keeps me committed everyday to do something healthy - by KIN59VARA
  • I would not have read many articles or other blogs/secrets if it weren't for the points encouragement. But now that I have, I realize how much I am learning. It helps me to keep on track. - by PONYTROT
  • As ridiculus as it may seem I am also motivated by the point system on here. I do use it as another measurement of my sucess. The reason is that I believe that by getting points i am doing the things necessary for a lifetime of health and fitness. It's almost like getting a degree. While there is little benifit while in school you know that once you get the degree, it will pay off. The trophy milestones are like that!! emoticon - by PASTORED2
  • I am motivated by the points, and also the SparkStreaks. It seems silly, but if it works it's none of anyone else's "beeswax!" emoticon I tell my friends do it for the points, do it for the blogs, do it for the calorie tracking, whatever motivates you, find that and do it! - by GLACIAL_ERRATIC
  • I average 1000 pts a month and often wonder how others get so many more. But yes, it is fun and keeps me active! - by GRAMMAP1
  • I enjoy getting the Spark Points. Love taking the Trivia quiz, and working towards 100%, along with reading the articles.
My daily routine used to be having my coffee while sitting on the couch watching tv.
Now, after I have exercised (as soon as I get out of bed) and showered, I enjoy my coffee while getting more knowledgeable about being healthy.... and I get points for doing it! - by BETHJ423

  • EvansGrammy, I think if you go to the Spark Points page, scroll to the bottom, find where it says "read The Spark" (or words to that effect), click there and then click on "purchase now" it will tell you how to input the code found at the back of the book to get your points.

This may not be exact, but it's close enough that you should be able to collect your points :) - by JULIA1154
