Weigh Every Morning



This may not work for all metabolisms-- but I weigh myself every morning using a digital scale. That way I can see my daily progress, even if it's just .2 pounds less. It keeps me from splurging because I'll see the results the very next day versus the end of the week.

I use a digital scale, a dial scale won't work too well for this.

  • This works for me as well. I think of it as daily accountability. But I only change my ticker once a week and have a set day as my "official weigh in day." - by KELSPRETTYGIRL
  • I was so excited to buy the digital scale so i could track the tiniest increments of success instead of waiting for the little marker to move more slightly to the left...but it's true also that i can get discouraged seeing it jump up even by a tiny bit especially if i KNOw i really was doing it working out great and the next day i gained two pounds (NOT muscle because the body fat % rose too)- so sometimes i wonder about the really day-to-day accuracy anyway...i know i didn't eat 7000 calories in one day even if i hadn't exercised!!! i like the advice about only tracking officially on SP one day a week- the other days are just me being obsessive! - by SPARKYSERRANO

  • I do the same thing,but sometimes it hurts me. Especially when the scale goes up.. Then I'm like what the heck.. But I just keep trucking.. I realize there will be fluctuations in the scale, there's nothing we can do about that! :) - by SPARKINGMYLIFE
