Weigh In

I know weighing in daily is often discouraged, but it motivates me a lot. Days when my weight is up, it pushes me to be more careful about food and exercise. Days that it's down, I'm pleased with my progress and motivated to keep the scale moving in that direction!

  • I also weigh in daily. It works for me and I can adjust my intake accordingly. My weight is placed in my journal along with my intake and my exercise program, the weather, my errands, my feelings, etc. - by MOTTAMAMALOU
  • I do better when I weigh in every day as well. While I really like SparkPeople, I also track my weight on because I like their graphs and stuff. Seeing my daily weight charted and graphed takes some of the emotion out of weighing in often. - by DUKEFAN86
  • I agree! I also need to weigh daily. It sometimes helps me to understand what causes some of the ups and downs. But, I find when I weigh everyday, I don't have as many ups and downs. Perhaps because I'm being more accountable. emoticon - by DEBBIERIMER
