Put all your change in a jar. After a while you have quite a bit of cash that might have been lost or spent on impulse items.

    I do this as well, and it adds up quicker than I thought it would. After the change can is full, it'll either go to savings, or it'll go to help fund a small get-away. - by LESSISMORE2010
  • I do this as well. We cash the change in prior to leaving for vacation and we use that as spending money for the boards and treats for the kids. - by MRSRLC
