Quick Tricks With Soup



I like to boost the nutritional value of canned soups by adding extra veggies & meat. For example, Progresso's Italian wedding soup - yummy but not quite filling enough! Add 1 cup each sliced carrots and celery, along with diced frozen turkey meatballs, & microwave. Gives you 2 hefty servings!

More Information:

Each serving is less than 300 calories. If you want to cut sodium, just buy low-sodium soup. You can also add a bit of fresh spinach or whatever other greens you have about. When you get soup on sale, this is a big moneysaver too... emoticon
