I also thought motivation "gimmicks" were silly. But I am amazed at how much working for Spark points keeps me motivated, teaches me new things and helps me stay on track.

I was feeling the same way, then I started a blog on Spark's, and although I do not write every day, I feel I am not accountable, I have a "team" behind me, although I know no one is reading it, it is making me feel like I belong...
