Ants In The Kitchen?



Put a little dish soap into a spray bottle and go after them - kills instantly without poison. Does not keep them from returning, but keeps poison away from food area.

  • I use a 1:4 vinegar to water solution in a spray bottle. They hate it and will leave. Plus it is pretty safe and a fairly effective cleaner, too. - by TIBURONA
  • We've had ants a couple of times - first time was really bad (they came in while we were away on holiday).
    We bought some plug-in things which emit an ultrasonic sound - takes a few days to work fully, but has kept them all out of the kitchen until this year. I've relocated one of the plug-ins so it's at a better height for the affected area. They seem to be pretty well all gone again.
