My newest idea (been doing it for two days now) is everytimg a commercial comes on TV, I HAVE to get OUT of my chair...and believe me folks, that in itself is a struggle. Then I have to stay on my feet, and moving until the show comes back on. WHEW...

More Information:

Seems easy enough and maybe it will get easier. My next goal is to get down on the floor, and pick myself back up during the commercials. Again, that alone, for me, is a struggle...but it should get easier as I go. The main thing is "Don't just SIT THERE!!!!"

    I too use commercials....I keep 3 lb weights by the couch and do arm excerises during the commercials getting rid of those "batwings" I have! emoticon - by QUSIE62

    This is a great way to get in some extra steps if you are working on the 10,000 steps a day challenge. Even just walking back and forth in the TV room makes those steps add up. Good for you for adding exercise! - by BEEZWELL
