Secrets of Success

I used to think "Oh no...I HAVE to exercise today to reach my weight goals" but when someone suggested I think of it as "I DESERVE to exercise today" it changed my whole perspective and for the first time in my life I began exercising regularly and loved it! That was 2 and a half years ago.

  • I've had such thoughts before, but the dominant thought has been that I have to exercise to reach my goal. Now, I will try to think of it more often as "I DESERVE to exercise". Thanks!!!!

  • I have always, always, always hated exercise, beginning back in public school when I was taller and bigger than everyone else in my class. Gym class was something to be endured, not enjoyed.
But now I'm learning to say that exercise is something that I GET to do. I'll think about using the word DESERVE. That's also a positive way of thinking about it. - by TIGGER2908
