Secrets of Success

Visit Your Library For Free Food Ideas!

Cooking magazines are a great resource, but nobody wants to try every recipe in an issue or keep a bunch of issues cluttering their space. So head to the magazine section of the library with your notebook and write down your favorites to try throughout the month. Great, cheap way to get inspired!

More Information:

My favorite magazines to check out for the recipes? Vegetarian Times, Real Simple, Health, and Eating Well.

Some newspapers have great weekly recipes too!

  • SInce you are online, go to places like for some great recipes. This way you can just build your own cookbook from the various sites and have them stored on your computer.
Also those same magazine copies have their receipes online. - by USMAWIFE
  • Websites are awesome too, but since I can't drag my computer next to the stove, I really love having a paper version to work from. - by BTVMADS
  • I always check out cookbooks from the library too. I used to copy the recipes that sounded I can just scan them. This way I get to look at hundreds of $ worth of beautiful books and don't have to worry about their storage. - by CAROLEHZ
