Variety, Variety, Variety!



The hint here is to workout without even realize it! Plan different things to do, like a day skiing, or snowshoeing, going on a hike, or a historical tour of your city. Make something different and fun, and you will exercise without that feeling "I have to workout"...

  • Exercise can be found in many places, not just at the gym. My DW and I recently spent a day in Death Valley (a cool 85), and there were many walking paths to see the most interesting attractions. The walks ranged from 3/8 of a mile to 8 miles and were rated from easy to 'rugged'.

  • It's all about movement. If we can move enough then it's an exercise. The more we can rotate our arms, legs and body we get more out of it. Following a routine is what seems to be the hardest part. I am the first to confess to not being able to find a happy balance.
