To make climbing hills on your bike MUCH easier, do this:
Get a good pace going before you reach the hill
Sit back in your seat, try to keep a steady pace and when you feel your legs slow down, drop to a lower gear. Also, gently rock the bike side to side.
It can be tough to get your cardio in when you see it as exercise. Instead, make a game of it. Compete against a friend or do what I'm doing- and imaginary cross country trip!
It's easy to go nuts at the fair, and especially hard because it's fair season. Order what seems to be the lightest item, then dump half of it into the nearest garbage can.
Can eating in front of a box sometimes be good?
Even though they don't suggest eating in front of a TV or computer, I do.
I pre-portion my meals. I only eat in front of my work PC. When I have dinner at the table with my family, I'm always the first one done and I feel less fulfilled with my meal....
