Goal Setting

By setting smaller goals within that goal you can actually make it happen. If you want to lose 50 pounds this year, figure out what action you need to take each month, week, day to make it happen. One it makes the goal less daunting and it helps you to stay on track and not lose sight of your goal.

Try something new

Give a new food a try. We often shy away from healthy foods because we think they taste bad. Try a new food, new recipe or a new way of cooking a food you currently don't like. I never liked carrots until I tried some my brother in law made and now they are often on my grocery list.

Pump up the Volume

Turn the TV off and the stereo (iPod, radio) on. The TV requires you to sit still and watch. If you turn on your favorite music not only can you move around the house without missing anything. You are likely to dance through the house!!!!
