Focus on your "why's"

For 10 minutes every day sit down and really FOCUS on WHY you are doing it, all the great stuff you are going to get from it, and what exactly you want to accomplish. Make it detailed and REAL (ie. not I want to improve my fitness" but "I want to join a softball team, and play 2-3 times a week...")

2 lb goal chart

I need to lose 90 something lbs which is really discouraging and overwhelming. So I made a chart with little 2 lb mini-goals on it, and each time I lose 2 lbs I get a star on my chart.

Whenever you buy something new, get rid of something you already have. If you KNOW ahead of time that you will be getting rid of something you already have in order to make room for the something new you are looking at, you will really think twice before buying it.

Create Clutter-Free Zones

Having a clean, organized house lowers your stress and settles your mind. I use to say "My house reflects my state of mind' when my house was dirty. I meant it as a joke but now I realize how true that statement actually is.
