Hmmm ... combine several thoughts: walking the neighborhood sidewalks and paths through piles of crunchy leaves

Hiking a scenic trail would be my top choice most of the year - any time snow & ice don't bar my rickety passage! I agree with the one who suggested "Hunting with my dad", tho we mostly found mountain beauty and came home with sprays of leaves to spray with varnish, & occasionally a christmas tree to hang upside down in the garage. Now DH & I "hunt" for photo ops, & leave the critters in peace!

Due to my handicapped condition I can no longer rake leaves, but it was one of my favorite things to do, years ago, both fall and spring along with weeding and planting. I miss these activities and my slow weight loss misses them too!!

Hiking the trail is nice, but riding it is better.

This one was rough to pick. I like the hiking in the woods, but the chasing the kids back to school was pulling at me.

Here's another example of where there really should have been an "Other" option.......I walk a but but don't really *hike*.........autumn is a great time for charity walks (again, NOT *hikes*) and they're very popular at this time of year - so that should have been mentioned (therefore the "Other" or "something not mentioned here' should have been provided as an answer)!!

Since I moved to Arizona, there really isn't what I would call "fall" any more. The choice of activities reminds me of my childhood, Halloween, the smell of burning leaves, the crunch under foot....I miss a real fall.

at 56 i probably shouldn't be doing any of those things either, but i have to admit i have never lost the love of wading through a deep pile of autum leaves, kicking them all about, jumping in them (all when no one's watching of course, hahah) even though it usually means i have to re-rake them once more. just something i need to do at least a few times a year i guess.

Haunted Houses are the best! Scarier the better!

At this point in my life, I would not do any of these.....hopefully by the fall though I could see me doing most of them.
