Irene, the Dalai Lama (means Ocean of Wisdom) Is the leading figure in Tibetan Buddhism.
He has wonderful common sense and good messages as to how to live one's life in a peaceful, compassionate way, starting with ourselves and spreading it to others.
I am sure others can add to this, but this is what I know and I respect him.

I was lucky enough to see the Dalai Lama in Los Angles, Ca some time ago. He is very inspirational to listen to. I very much enjoy reading his books too. Report
