That must have meant so much to both mother and daughter. My stepmother still knows me but she is sliding. Doesn't remember that certain family members have passed on, doesn't remember my husband's name, doesn't remember which state she lives in. I treasure our conversations now because I don't know how long she will know who I am. Wish we could get to a cure for this condition. Report

That was so heart-warming. I can also relate to this because my aunt had Alzheimer's and toward the end she didn't recognize hardly anyone. Report

This is beautiful. I lost my dad almost 11 years ago but he was gone long before that. He had Alzheimer's. It is a sad disease. Very sad. My prayers are with anyone who had a parent or a love one with Alzheimer's. Report

Brings tears to my eyes... My Mom passed a year ago. She lived the last few years with Alzheimer Disease. Have memories of her Knowing me and saying I love you. Miss her so much. Report
