I think the only time we really use coconut oil is when we make cake (all 4 a year lol) because my DH "hates" coconut but the oil doesn't taste like the nut. Also MIL is allergic. I just think it makes the cake a little moister without losing the nice sponge texture, but we get get the same effect when using some of our ducks eggs. Personally I avoid all food hype since every 5 years it does a 180 anyway. Do like the texture of the cakes though lol! Report

It does seem like the pendulum is swinging towards the point of view that low carb is better - as in such plans like the KETO or Low Carb High Fat (LCHF). I know I do better with low carb, very low sugar. Easier said then done... Report
I have always been told by my doctor to keep my carb intake very you folkks agree? Report
