I lost 110 lbs two years ago. It showed me how much muscle mass loss I had incurred ove the years(68). I have arthritis in both knees and am prone to falling. I fell at least six times before I lost weight. After losing weight I quit falling and also started heavy weights. In four months I gained 2 inches in lower thighs and 1.5 inches in arms. I haven’t fallen since and next month will be 2 years since any shots in knees. Report

I used to only think elderly women fell because all but one of the many seniors I know who have been badly hurt from falls are women. The men seem to just scoot along with no issues. But now I think I'd better share this article with my husband. He is so sure-footed I can't imagine him falling but is sure is getting along in years. Report
