I got injured training for a marathon about 8 years ago. I recovered but my feet are knees are not the same. I can’t hardly wear high heels- which I like from time to time- I always feel like I am going to fall. I have arthritis, varicose veins that I always had- but I think the harsh training made it worse. I am not sorry I trained, I am sorry that I get injured. I walk a lot and from to time to time, I run/walk a 5 or 10k. It is important to check and change your shoes often; and use the right ones, with proper support for your feet. Unfortunately some us, don’t find out about that until is too late. I learned a lot from that experience. Report
The huge amount of pictures of food, especially desserts at the end of the articles definitely overthrow any self control I have toward eating less.
