The Buzz on Jazzercise

The Fitness Class with Rhythm

I am a Jazzercise Instructor in Georgia, LOVE IT!!! This article does lack some information though...there is so much more to class than just a warm up, cardio & some strength! Jazzercise is a high-energy aerobic workout! After becoming certified in 2006, within 4 months of teaching, I lost 20 pounds and totally changed my body-image! I have 3 children & look like I'm 18!!!! The saying rings true, "Jazzercise, is not your mom's workout!" Come to a class soon and see for yourself!!! You don't know what you're missing! Report
I've been doing Jazzercise for about five years. If you are a dancer or wish you could be, this is the place. The music is always varied from current hits to oldies but goodies. The instructors give you options so that if you have a problem, you can work around it - like bad knees or a bad back. Plus, there are people there of all ages and sizes! Report
I agree with Carlie, having been an avid Jazzerciser in the past, I know they have a lot to offer all fitness levels. That being said, maybe just providing a link to their main website, where readers could research for themselves and follow up on their interest, would have been helpful. I"m afraid there is no longer a Jazzercise class convenient for me to attend but for those who love to move to music it's a great way to get exercise! Report
I thought the article was a bit lacking in information. Jazzercise also offers many other types of classes other than the basic 60 minutes. (step, jazz cardio strength stretch, jazzercise lite, personal touch, jazzercise express). Additionally they offer an international convention each year. If you love to dance, then I encourage everyone to find a Jazzercise class and try it out. I love it! Report
