As obvious as walking is, I never thought of it being a main way to lose weight ! You are an inspiration ! I am at a road block, and have been since my daughter was born, 2 years ago. I always say I'm going to make myself healthier, I just lose my way in the mist of daily activities. I am going to be taking my daughter out, in her stroller everyday and go walking. Thank you for being such an inspiration ! You look fantastic by the way! Report

Way to go! Keep up the great work! Report
I found this the right time... Thanks a lot for inspiring me. I will try my best to achieve my goal and stay motivated. Report

Your story sounds like mines....I love walking...Just being outside and taking in the beauty of the earth. Report
So Glad you shared your story. I am determined to start walking each day and lose the pounds I have put back on in the last 3 years. I had forgotten how great you feel afterwards .. I am a little older now and a bit slower BUT even after a few days I feel so much better. Report
Thanks for the motivation. Thanks, too, for reminding me that often I make weightloss harder than it has to be. Report
I just started SparkPeople last week and am very excited! I started walking after work in the hallways in the building since my allergies affect me when I walk outside. I did not walk these last 2 days since I was too tired from work. But, I miss my walking which I have been doing for 2 weeks and will start up again tomorrow. I know I will get back to my, 10,9,8 sizes. Time heals all, the weight will come off! Keep inspiring as you do!!! Thanks, Bonnie!!! Report
Thank you, this was both realistic and encouraging. Report
Bonnie, you are such an inspiration. I am not a runner, (my knees won't allow it), you show that it can be done by walking. I wish I could find a walking buddy, but in the meantime, I'm going to follow your advice and start out slow, and take my music with me. Thanks, and continued good luck to you! Report
Thank you for posting this. I was a 14 until my bunion surgery six weeks ago. I can still squeeze into that 14, but it's not pretty - suppose the holidays didn't help either. I am just starting to walk again & I really want to join you in the 6-8 size range, but I'd be happy with a 10-12. You look great. Report
