This is one of those things that I know in my head, but my heart could use a little catching up ... I'm very good at worrying. My imagination is unbelievable! I can imagine the very absolute worst case scenario for every situation!

Thank you for the reminder to give all of that up to God. He hasn't let me down, and I have faith that He won't in the future!

(From Steve Miller's *One-Minute Promises of Comfort*)

ONE DAY AT A TIME

"Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble." ~Matthew 6:34

Worry does not lessen our suffering. Nor does it give us the strength we need to shoulder our burdens. Rather, it robs us of the time and energy we need for dealing with today.

Worry has a way of getting us to imagine troubles that do not yet exist--troubles that may never come. We should be grateful then, that God has hidden the future from us. He mercifully commands us not to worry about what seems to be our lack for the next day, but to rest in His provision for this day.

To us, our future may seem dark and murky, but to our heavenly Father, it's very clear. He knows exactly what is coming, and He is already prepared to give us the help we need at the time we need it--not before.

Are you worried about tomorrow? Give your anxiety to God, for He is already there.

BELIEVE, LIVE JOYFULLY, BREATHE DEEPLY, BE HOPEFUL, LAUGH!!!

"When I stand before God at the end of my life I would hope that I would have not a single bit of talent left and could say, 'I used everything You gave me.'" ~Erma Bombeck
