I love yoga. It's very calming and relaxing after a long and stressful day/week. It also gives you a good stretch.

Today I taught my two classes at the gym...Group Power emoticon and Group Groove . emoticon

I so need to try Yoga! Do you like it?

I am getting my hair done this morning (The Look Salon & Spa!), and will get in a walk this afternoon. Going to Universal Studios for the "3 Doors Down" concert tonight with husband & son!

Looks like it's going to be a BEAUTIFUL day here in Central Florida!

Yesterday I left work a little early so I could go to yoga. So relaxing after a stressful week!

I did my Latin Dance class last night. We had a sub-instructor - but she was Great! Totally awesome workout. Tonight I'll be going to a Cardio Kickboxing class. (Haven't done it there in a while, so I hope that I survive! Of course I've been doing Turbo Jam at home!)

This past week was a bust. I had the flu Sun & Mon, my son had it Tues & Wed - did not go to the gym or work out. Husband's birthday was Thurs - no gym.

Finally got in a Turbo Jam workout this morning! Will do a walk this afternoon with my husband - it's supposed to be really nice in the mid-70's today.

Good Morning! I did Beach Body's "Great Body Guaranteed" this morning: Thin Thighs, Great Abs, and Great Buns, and will do my Latin Dance class tonight after work! I will finish with the Great Body Guaranteed's Great Arms (ran out of time before work!).

Why are my weekends busier than my working weekdays?

Already went to the gym: lifted weights & did a 1-hr Spinning Class. Went to my son's football game (last of the Winter 2010 season). Going shopping in Orlando, and then to Universal Studios: Mardi Gras event with the Akon concert - for the evening.

I didn't lose any weight this week - which was no surprise, as I didn't get in all of my workouts. But, I started this week off right by getting in a lot of walking at Universal's Islands of Adventure, and am having beef stir-fry this evening for dinner.

Good Morning! It is Ash Wednesday (beginning of Lent), so I am off to mass, then to work, and will be doing the elliptical and bike after work tonight. A full day. Will also be eating meat-free today. (PBJ for lunch, and salmon for dinner.)

Looks like another cold one - so stay warm!

Mmmmmm orange juice actually sounds good!

Today I took a "dance fusion" class - very fun - and did some strength work.

Yesterday I couldn't get a treadmill, but did elliptical and then took the yoga class - it was great!

Looks like you've been jam-packed with workouts! Way to go!

Wow have I been slacking on posts!!! I haven't been doing so many dance-y workouts lately, but at least I've been working out right?

Here's my summary since my last post:
1.24 (Sunday) - not much just a walk with the dog - about 20 minutes
1.25 - Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred
1.26 - Jillian Michaels Banish Fat Boost Metabolism
1.27 - off
1.28 - Jillian Michaels "Quick Trouble Zones"
1.29 - treadmill - just a quickie 20 minutes, but mostly jogging.
1.30 - 4.49 miles on the treadmill (65 minutes) plus a 2 mile walk with my hubby and dog.
1.31 - just a 2.2 mile walk in the morning with Olive and Demian.

Today I am meeting Demian at the gym for a yoga class (I'm weirdly a little nervous as I was never an expert, but haven't done it forever and am nowhere NEAR as flexible as I used to be). I am going to bolt out of here so that I can run a little before class.

I started "Insanity" today - a workout. I did the fit test, and it kicked my butt! Looking forward to continuing the transformation this month.

I lost 1 pound this week, and 1 inch off my waist for the month of January!

LILFLGIRL: It was in the 40's here today and feels like spring! I hope it doesn't get cold again! I love Irish! That's the kind of dance I did when I was younger (also cheerleading) so I have a dance DVD I've been using again! It's a lot of fun and really hard too!

Yesterday was Irish dance for 30 minutes, pilates for 25 and abs for about 30 minutes (sort of an abs circuit).

Today, more Irish, walking/circuit workout, upper body and another 20 minute circuit.

Did Julianne Hough's Cardio Ballroom this morning and it was really fun. I need to move the rug in here next time :-)

Also Jillian Michaels No More Trouble Zones and a doggie walk this morning.

We're going out tonight, so I wanted to make sure and do plenty - even though I will eat better than in past "outings"- still not the same as staying home (plus there's champagne out there!!!)

Sounds like you had a couple of good workout days! :)

I did Latin Dance on Sun, (off Mon-too stuffed up to breathe), Latin Dance on Tues, off Wed-son needed 2 hrs of help w/ homework (Geography), and headed to the gym tonight for 30 min cardio & 35 min weight lifting.

I am a couple days behind. . . yesterday I did the boot camp video as well as a 30 minute cardio dance thing from Exercise TV. We also took our dog on a walk for about an hour.
Friday, I did the boot camp video as well as the Pussycat Dolls workout DVD. A little cheesy, but I wanted to try it - there are some fun parts. I will say though that you need to really work it yourself to make it worthwhile because if you just walk through the moves, it's not enough.
Today, we took a shorter dog walk and I'm trying to get motivated for more. It's horribly cold, so walking to the gym feels tough.

I finally took the ballet class at my gym - it's so great - makes me miss dance even more! I am for sure going to try to make it there as much as possible!

Also, did a run/walk on the treadmill (30 minutes) as well as today's New Year Boot camp leg video and a 10 minute core one to make up for missing yesterday's :-)
