Love, love, love ETC! I cannot say enough good things about them! They are really expanding on the plus sizes (I still have to shop in that section) but they have a great selection and they are very picky about what they take in.

I've had great luck at Etc. on Jonestown Road. I do think it takes a bit more patience when shopping at a consignment shop because everything is just grouped by size. Like all business casual pants are together, all jeans, all tops, all jackets, etc. But then again, places like JC Penney or Kohl's are overwhelming to me because of so many choices.

I feel your pain - really don't like shopping but did have to break down and get some new things. I actually found several cute skirts & some new tops at Goodwill. I like the one in Clemmons & there is also a fairly new one down on Peters Creek Parkway that my daughter & I had good luck at. I've also heard good things about Etc on Jonestown Road, but have only been in there once looking for something for my granddaughter. Good luck on your quest!

Today is the first day of the rest of my life!

Hi everyone,

I know there are a ton of consignment shops in the Winston-Salem, Clemmons, Lewisville area but I need some advice.

I am in desperate need of some new (not fraying at the edges) clothes. However, 1) I don't like shopping (wish I could do it every 20 years) and 2) I don't have a lot of patience to "search" for that perfect piece. Any suggestions on where to go? (My normal default is to go pick up something at JCPenny's but I'd like to break out of that rut for clothing and I'd like to shop local if at all possible.)

Any suggestions, help, ideas, etc is GREATLY appreciated. emoticon

Enjoy our beautiful weather!
