Oh, my gosh, yes. Life happens, and I'm not willing to miss out on anything. If there is a small deviation, so be it...and I'm just extra careful on the days in which we're not out, or traveling, or whatever. But,if a host is nice enough to make a veggie dish with onions sauteed with olive oil, or a bit of oil makes it's way onto my salad while we're out...well, it's not the end of the world. :D

I think trying to be perfect and do everything perfectly is what always gets me in trouble. I think I am a failure and want to give up. I do much better to start off with the attitude that I will do the best I can and still have a life.

I would think the only big difference would be less fiber in the cooked. So, see no problem, especially as I hope the healing would not be forever. Do what you can anyway you can and don't worry about being perfect.

perfectly fine

It doesn't really matter how you eat your veggies as loooong as your eating them

Hi!

Quick question...I am temporarily unable to chew lots of raw veg (had a small mishap, and my jaw is banged up pretty good...lol). Do you think it would work to just sub the pound of raw for an extra pound of cooked veg? There is just no way I want this jaw issue to linger longer than it has to. I've been blending, but that's really not my favorite way to do things, although if that's better, of course I will.

Thanks so much!
