My ex boyfriend was diabetic and he really couldn't eat any fruit at all. The sugar reacted to his body just as any sugar or simple carb would.

I'm not diabetic, but if I eat more than one or two fruits per day I seem to have digestive issues, so I am currently restricting it to one per day to see how that goes, and then I'll start experimenting with other fruits to see what they do to me.

No most veggies don't raise blood sugar too much. Sweet fruits such as bananas, pineapples, mangoes raise it more than others.berries are a good bet they don't raise it as much.

You find that only the fruit makes your blood sugar goes up verses veggies?

Are there certain fruits that make your blood sugar go up more than other fruits?

I'm not sure but...you could try less fruits and more veggies (in place of the fruits) also all fruit have different sugar amounts so eat the fruits with less sugar in them

I think berries have less sugar

Just try out different ways of eating fruit and see what happens

I have info on this somewhere but I don't have time to look until next, I will get back on this.

All, just curious: I am in week three of my ETL life and, while my blood sugar has come down, I am still not seeing anything like the miraculous changes described in the books. Is it just me? Should I reconsider eating 4 fruits a day (is that too much sugar, even though it is from whole foods)? Is anyone else out there struggling with this?

I have lost a fair bit of weight (13 pounds in the first two weeks) but need to get blood sugar under control. Any insights, experiences, advice is much appreciated!!!
