I weigh weekly, although I have been thinking about switching to daily. I think by weighing daily I could "desensitize" myself to fluctuations. I also have that "good weight/good day" mentality, but I'm hoping that weighing every day will help me see that fluctuations are normal, and the number on the scale is just that: a number.

Usually only once a week.... But I got anxious this week and check a couple of days early... and I'm happy with what I see!

While I probably should weigh myself once a week, I generally end up weighing myself daily at the same time. It drives me a little crazy when I gain 2 pounds out of nowhere.

I weigh myself every Sunday morning. It is good for me to do this as I can see how the entire week has gone.

Every morning. If I don't, the weight creeps up.

Remember, nobody can go back to the very beginning and make a brand new start, but anyone can start here and make a brand new end.

There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results."

Daily. However I do not let myself eat more if the number is low. If the number starts creeping up over a few days, I begin to pay attention and readjust.

I started weighing myself every morning when I wake up last week and am keeping a log of it on the inside of the bathroom cabinet.
I read a report that it is a technique/habit of people who succeed at losing and keeping the weight off.

Having said that I think it's also important to remember that our weight fluctuates and the number on the scale is only one piece of information about our overall health.
I meet with a personal trainer/life coach once a month to get measured
Last May I was hydrostatically weighed for the first time and plan to make it an annual event. If I lived closer - it was in a different state that I visit to see a friend - I'd do it every six months
I also check my blood sugar 4 times a day, being diabetic.
I get my blood work done, full panel every three months
And I use how I feel physically and how my clothes fit as other measures. I don't buy or make clothes with elastic waists anymore to help with this.

Seldom. I tend to let the numbers determine my day: good numbers = good day, bad numbers = bad day. I want to focus on health not numbers. I do know others that feel seeing the numbers daily does help them.

How often do you weigh yourself? What do you think are the pros and cons of weighing yourself that often?

I'm trying to decide if I'm going to keep weighing myself daily or go to weekly.
