You are doing well at turning to the messageboards for help to overcome urges to binge. Something that also helps me is cardio activity, a short walk to take my mind off binging helps.

I hope everyone is doing well. I haven't been too active on the boards since joining, but I am taking things a day at a time.

I am proud that as of today I am at or above the goal I wanted to be for myself. I can see changes I need to make, but am so glad that I have been sticking to my goals and reaching out for help when I need it. Today makes three weeks where I have been trying this new way of living and I can tell a difference already.

This past week was stressful at work - or rather the stress caught up to me - but I came on here, posted about binging and ended up getting myself treats instead of eating lots of calories - I worked out a bit more (just a little - but it made a difference) and didn't go out of my calorie goals because of that. This week I learned that this is a new way of living - and I don't need to cut out sugar/treats completely - and it helped me stay on track.
