If you don't add the items, then don't add the calories. That's how I do it. I know cereal has the two listings, but I don't use the recommended 2% milk, so I add the cereal separate from my skim milk.

When making a boxed meal (such as pasta side, hamburger helper or mac and cheese) it gives you two caloric ranges: Packaged and Prepared.

When preparing you usually add margarine and milk. I never do. Since I leave out these "calorie adding" itmes. Do I just use the packaged values? I feel that I do, but am unsure.

PLEASE HELP! Leave me a comment so I'm sure to get it.

Today I actually got up at 4:45am and was at the gym in time for the 60 min spin class from 5:15 to 6:15! I've been trying to get up and make it to this class forever!

Ate within my caloric intake and painted my new family room and came to find out we can get fitness points for that. I guess if my arms, back, and shoulders are going to hurt, I might as well put it down as something. emoticon

I went tanning in my back yard to try and even out (or get rid of) my "farmers" tan. It's pretty bad being a stay at home dad and have a farmers tan.

I went running at lunch even though it was cold and had snowed. Yes we got snow all yesterday afternoon and last night. Thankfully the pathways were clear and due to the weather not crowded. It was a good run even though only 4 members of the group showed up.

cold and wet monday. drove 15 miles to jazzercise class by 8a.m.

auntyem you are a wonderful person whom God has made. Yes we do things wrong, we gain weight, but it did not happen overnight so it will take time to go away. One mistake will not count in the scheme of things as long as we say now I must eat right for the rest of the day and exercise. I am doing the best I can with this injury but definitely not up to what others can do.

Congrats for all the successes! It is inspiring to hear how everyone is doing.
As for me I feel proud of not allowing me to talk negatively to myself. This is a big victory for me. Instead of beating myself I am concentrating on my strengths and I am really happier knowing I am a pretty great person.

There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as if everything is.

my knee injury is sooooo painful. I was able to do do laundry and carry the b asket up the stairs and put the load on the line today to dry. then back out to bringin and then fold and put away.

Today was Day 1 of C25K and I actually did it and finished it. I about died but I made it through. So I am proud of myself!
