Hi Amber, don't let your AF diminish your pride in your efforts. You can always count your final weight as your post AF weight.

I think the videos were a good idea in theory, but not practical for everyone. I didn't even do them all.

Anyway, I hope tomorrow brings a love of happiness and romance to you all, no matter what the scale says. Have a good night and wake up happy!

Soooo happy we are going to keep going! Unfortunately, AF lands on V-day for me, so my water retention weight (normally between 5 & 7 pounds for me :( ...) totally wrecked my goal weight. I thought about this challenge every minute of the day and it inspired me to make even the tiniest of positive changes for myself!

Be-Amazing: I would've loved to watch your videos, but no internet at home where I work out. I have found a way around it a few times, but it just isn't convenient. Thank you for doing all the leg work of putting them out there and setting up month 2!

Hi Charmed,
It is hard for the first few months. You really do feel tired and nappy all the time. It will get better. I used to aim for taking a walk with my dog at least once a day, and I kept it up until the end of my pregnancy, even when we were going SUPER SLOWLY. It helped me recover and made my back feel better. Good work getting some movement in. Take care of yourself!

I made my goal of 160 a few days early too, so upped it to aim for 158, just to push myself a little further. I hope I get there. I did a big workout today and have high hopes.

My friends want to go out for "beer and wings" on Friday, but that does not jive with my goals, so I will have to make up some excuse. I feel a bit like a party pooper, but I went to the website of the place they chose, and there are NO healthy options on the menu AT ALL!!! I said I would go, but now I have decided to pull out.

OKAY!

I set up a St. Patrick's Day (March 17th Challenge) because it gives us about another month long goal to aim for. There is a template you can follow or not, as you like.

I am not going to post videos anymore because I doubt people are actually using them (not even me). You can always go to Spark Videos or YouTube and find one that you do like if you want to keep doing that. You could also cycle back through the ones that I have posted here.

Also, after our St. Patrick's Challenge, we will do an Easter one for April 20. That will give us another month again.

I hope you are all up for continuing these challenges as I feel very motivated by all of you and enjoy hearing about your progress.

We have 2 more days until VALENTINE'S DAY, so keep on pushing.

I am in for an Easter one! That will bring me right to my anniversary honeymoon! Ps I made my goal! I am officially down 10lbs since Jan 1! Although I feel like I "cheated" this week as I didn't exercise at all because I have had the flu. But I have still been managing to eat well.

I think we can do the challenge again for sure. Let's up it from 10 minutes to 15 minutes 3-5x a week minimum. We can make it an Easter goal, or a monthly goal. Let me think about a motivating theme.

We have 2 more days to eat well and exercise to try and make the most of our goals for this challenge. No matter whether you have been doing it or not, give it a try for the next two days.

That's the spirit charmed!
Any progress is good! Let it be managing your diet better, not gaining wt, cooking more, learning new diet/fitness information, moving around more, avoiding bad food choices at work/church/school/etc.
It ALL adds up!

I didn't and probably won't loose much weight come this Saturday, but am very proud of the progress I've made. I'm finally close to where I once was (like 2013) regarding my fitness level/running speed.

I can totally relate about being too tired for the gym as well! I can only go at night most of the time and by then I may already be wiped out (especially w/nursing school).
Sometimes I'll skip especially if I ate okay.....But I find it useful to push myself just to go anyways because once I go I always end up feeling good by the end of my work out.

Totally didn't do very well this challenge. But it did get my off the couch a few times which is better than I have been doing. Hoping over the next few weeks I won't be as tired and can workout more often! Another challenge is a great idea!!!

Thanks Be-AMAZiNG I'm just hoping I stay at where I am^^' really sort of been off my routine! I have lots to do next week as-well: 1 final exam + clinical math exam, bridal shower (mostly fun), and a presentation waaahhhhh.....

Yes I agree Amproske1!/Tigger This challenge has been very motivating! I would totally love to be part of another one! Easter is the next big holiday, but am not sure if that would be appropriate for a team challenge (?). We could possibly do monthly challenges...?

I'm really up for anything! I like the idea of checking in with others, sharing goals, and offering/receiving support! emoticon

I'm up for another one too!!! It's keeping me going these last few days!

As of this morning I am down 6 lbs from the new year. With that great news, I am feeling extremely irritable today. Don't know if it's cyclical or due to low calories or what, but I can't shake the crabbiness and I am exhausted! So, food is on check today, but I didn't exercise. Maybe I'm wiped after my hour yesterday. On to tomorrow!

Great progress everyone! I have been so busy (moved to a new place, 3 exams, clinical paperwork, funeral, etc.) That I have not been able to post! I did see surprising progress! I lost about 2.1lbs on Saturday~
I believe I accomplished this by tracking my diet and making it to the gym! Although the last few days I have been slacking big time due to my busy schedule! My goal for the rest of this week is to make it thru without overeating.

I have fallen off my diet a bit too since being sick. I don't have the energy to make meals, and I have lost my appetite a bit. We can get back on track together! Hello everyone! Hope you are all doing fine =)

Today is another busy day for me with class. I do, however, intend on hitting the gym today and to do the below video later on!

Btw I have a confession! This past weekend my husband and I went to visit my parents, and they threw a little birthday party for me. It was cute, but I totally went off my diet…. Particularly cake/Ice cream and fried fish/French fries *le Gasp*

I AM happy to report since then I’ve been trying to make up for it and it seems I am back to my Saturday weigh-in weight =)
Hoping this week I can still get closer to my original Valentine goal of 5 pounds!

PROGRESS!!!


Hope everyone had a meaningful last week of January 2015!

Welcome! I hope you reach your Valentine goals!

This week my diet was clean for the most part and I did up my exercise! Just this morning I went for 5.4 mile run for an hour.
I also didn't overeat too much on my birthday emoticon I actually skipped the cake & ice cream and got a salad for dinner .......and a giant bowel of guacamole lol.

Btw my husband took me shopping for my birthday at the King of Prussia Mall which was huge! We were shopping for almost 4 hours and barley seen half the mall! It was really nice of him.

Thought I would have lost a bit more this week, but nonetheless I am still happy about my weight-loss. I have been having some weird bowel problems the last few months. This week I'm happy I made an appointment finally with a specializlist to figure it out. I have been very bloated, constipated, and just not feeling too good. Hoping it's nothing too serious....

I found out that cirque de sole il is coming to town in February so I went to buy tickets today as a surprise for hubby for valentines day. They were sold out for that day but I got tickets for the 21st so we will celebrate a week later. :) what a great gift for this challenge

Thanks for rooting me on FALLENLEAVES!!! That got me back moving yesterday :)

Did three miles on the treadmill yesterday and tracked calories, down a pound today. We can do this!!!

Doc appointment today so I'm not sure I will have time toworkout but I'll try to make good food decisions.

Worked out today!! So proud of myself, I pretty much haven't done any exercise in the last 4 weeks. It felt so good to do something beside sit around. Did all the 10 minute prenatal Pilates sections making it 50 minutes!! Could totally feel it in my thighs!!

I tried the video and got four minutes in then it started freezing up on me. I've been having issues with spark vids for the last week. Grrr! So then I tried doing Zumba in the basement but got discouraged at a couple of the songs so I quit again. Hmph.

Going to pack my bag for the gym after work tomorrow, I CANNOT let myself get discouraged, these things take time!!! Gotta keep movin...

I am in!!! I'm gonna aim for five pounds so that will be about 167... That would be amazing! I've been doing great with tracking so my plan is to stay up with that and continue building up my biking and running. I'll aim to be up to four miles by then on e treadmill... Now for a reward... Maybe a massage or a trip shopping for some new sexy clothes :) we can do this ladies!!!

Thanks for setting all this up, I can't wait to do the video tomorrow!!!

4. Food: 80/20 rule, lots of protein, fruits and veggies, avoid caffeine, alcohol and added sugars / Exercise: yoga at least 3 times a week, find a fun class at my gym
5. Be open and relaxed, try out new fun things, finally write that song!

I am so excited to hear that you are all in ! That really motivates me to work hard.

I hope we all do well and lose about 5 lbs by then.

Please note below (3rd post in this thread) that I have posted tomorrow's exercise video already. It is a 10 min. kickboxing video by Coach Denise. It looked good. I didn't try it yet, but I watched the whole thing. It should get our heart rates going nicely and it will be a slow start for non-exercisers or those of you who are already pregnant (watch your balance if you are pregnant).

I haven't been diligently tracking my calories that I've eaten... so in order to lose those 6 lbs by Feb 14 I am going to track everything I eat and make sure I am always staying within range!

I am in for the exercise part. I need to get back into exercising!! I will keep following my what to eat when expecting guidelines as well. My weight goal is just to stay close to the weight I am now as I am pregnant and hoping to not to gain too much weight during the pregnancy! Love the fact that we have exercise challenges!!!

This is great! I love it! My goal is to be down 6lbs by Feb 14!

I already told my husband I'd like to go salsa dancing that night and we'll do a healthy dinner eating in because we aren't big on going out for dinner on special occasions.

Hi Ladies emoticon

I thought we could get our minds off obsessing about AF and OV and BFP for a fun challenge that everyone could enjoy. I am trying to get myself into exercising more, and I hope some of you will join me.

CHALLNGE:
1. Set a realistic goal weight that you want to achieve for Valentine's Day (FEB 14)
2. Plan a reward for achieving it that will make you feel gorgeous
3. Plan a surprise romantic evening for fun with your SO that does not revolve around baby making (enjoy each other without TTC)
4. Plan your food and exercise to get you there.
5. Focus on the positive and be happy for everything that you DO have in life.

6. I am going to post a 10 minute workout Sparks video link each day for us to do at home. Try to do the video with us or another 10 minute workout of your choice.
