Just thought I'd leave an update.. after the MMC (natural) on Aug. 3rd, I've had 3 cycles! The first was 37 days, the 2nd was 27 days. No more amenorrhea! I have been weighing in around 139/140 lbs. which is overweight BMI for my 5'1" frame but I guess my hormones are ok with that. I was trying so hard to get back to 130 before TTC again but hey hey, I'm just entering the TWW. My family still says I look good at this weight... I don't like it too much though. So whether I get a BFP or not I'll still be working on losing the last bit and getting stronger. I am just so thankful that my cycles are back and we're both full of hope.

Sad news... I was diagnosed with a missed miscarriage on 7/13 (at 9 weeks). The baby had stopped growing 2 weeks earlier and there was no more heartbeat. We are so heartbroken... now I'm just waiting for the inevitable to happen naturally.

Yes, I did get a good test yesterday! Thank you for the advice, I did check all of them and take a picture within 10 mins. of testing. :)

6/15/2015 Here's my updated test pics as of today (16-22 DPO), today marks 5 weeks:

I know it's been 4 days so you've probably gotten a good test by now, but while you can rarely get a false positive, usually, if you follow the instructions on a pregnancy test, any line, no matter how faint means you are pregnant. It is detecting pregnancy hormones that won't be there unless you are. They will then get darker as the amount of the hormones in your body increase. Just make sure you are reading it within the time window the test specifies. If you come back an hour later and think you see a line, don't count that. Congratulations!

Thanks for taking a look! I actually have like 4 more dollar store (New Choice) tests, so I'll just use those next. I'm still not convinced since the line is so faint and I never did get a period after the two I got on the pill. I have hope though. :)

I see the line! Congrats! If you want to try a FRER (First Response Early Response) to maybe see a darker line, you can do that. A digital may not show anything yet as they aren't as sensitive.

This is the third day I've taken a pregnancy test and I'm pretty sure the 2nd line has gotten darker every day. I think I need to make a dr. appt. soon! So I counted the day after I got the peak fertility reading as ovulation day (May 24th) so today would be 15 DPO. Should I call this a positive yet?

Weighed in at 133.8 lbs today... and have had some promising cm lately so I went ahead and did a clear blue digital ovulation test and it said HIGH FERTILITY (the flashing smiley face)! I will continue to test first thing in the morning until I see the PEAK smiley. Yay!

UPDATE:
5-20 high fertility
5-21 high fertiliy
5-22 high fertiity
5-23 peak fertility! (static smiley)

Hormones are so touchy. I know the waiting game is difficult. Maybe you should try talking to your doctor again to check in and let them know what has been going on.

I have stuck to walking at an incline of 4% at 2.5mph on the treadmill for a long time now. I do yoga and lift 10 lb weights, it's nothing extreme. I was trying to eat 1200 or less calories though, and I kept binging and that's why I'm already up to 120 so I figured why not try to maintain here by eating around 1500/day plus whatever I burn with exercise. I am not scheduled to go back to the dr. at this time, no.

Do you still work out intensely? I was just wondering if a calmer type of workout, like yoga or walking, would help you feel like you are doing something good for your body, but be less stress on your body.

Are you scheduled to return to your doctor after a certain amount of time, or only if you feel it is necessary?

Sorry to hear that it's not going as you hoped! I think the article you posted has great info. I hope you'll be able to get your body to do what you want it to do. I can understand that gaining weight is not exactly what you would like, but it will be totally worth it, when you get your cycle back and hopefully a little one a little later. Take care and keep us posted!

No good signs yet, it's been over 2 months. Maybe I really do need to exercise less, eat more and gain weight. I'm already back up to 120 lbs. from 110. :( paleoforwomen.com/overcoming-hypotha

Hello there. Well, so I went through one pack of 28 day sprintec and after the 3rd day of the placebo pills I finally got a period! Now I'm on my 2nd pack with only a few pills left. After this pack, I go off of the bc to see what happens naturally.

So glad you went to your doctor and it sounds like she has a plan of action for you. Hopefully this will help you and then your body can get back to normal. At least now, once you complete this first part with the BC pills, and if you are still having some issues, she has it noted in your chart and you can move on to something else. Sorry you are going through this frustration and I wish you the best with it!

Update 9/24/2014: Had an appt. with obgyn. Hypothalamic amenorrhea from weight loss is what I'm dealing with. Uterine lining is thin from not enough estrogen, no eggs are being released. I really wanted a natural course of action, but it looks like I'm going to be taking birth control pills for two months to start my cycle back up and then check up on ovulation on month three. I hope this works! I also did order a basal thermometer for tracking temps later on, thanks for the tip!

I haven't yet, I'm waiting until tomorrow since that will be the 2 week mark since the last dose. EDIT 7/10/14 - I sent a message and it's recommended I get imaging of my pelvis done. I kind of don't want to because I don't think that's the problem... ugh, I don't know what to do.

My last period was on Dec. 25th 2013. I have been exercising quite a bit and eating less than I used to since September 2013, which is likely why it's been MIA. I've lost about 64lbs. Went to the doctor and all my test results were normal and definitely not pregnant. I took 10mg tabs of medroxyprpgesterone (provera) 3 times a day for 10 days. It's been 12 days since I took the last dose and no period yet. I hope I just need to wait a couple more days... this stresses me out.
