I'm so sorry that you had to experience that.

I had a miscarriage but I was pregnant with twins so in the end, I still had a baby. That was 14 years ago and I still look around and wonder what my other child would be like, if it was the girl I've always wanted (I have 3 boys now). My miscarriage was unknown until the ultrasound when I found out I was pregnant with twins...and that one didn't make it. That push pull cuts deeper than it has any right to.

I am sorry you had to go through this. My miscarriage happened at 11 weeks and I knew I was pregnant. I had even heard a heartbeat at about 6 weeks. The baby only made it 9 weeks but I didn't start bleeding until week 11.
Sending you virtual hugs!

I'm so sorry youre going through this. I went through something similar. I had had a 'known' miscarriage and the bleeding was off and on for five weeks and one day started up like crazy and hurt terribly - worse than ever before. I went to the doc and they said the same thing - you're pregnant. I said impossible - we had sex like once in that time period - figured that I wouldn't be ovulating but didn't think much of it... the doc said it could still be viable but... with all the pain I was in I didn't really get my hopes up. It was a strange feeling - we were sad all over again but we have a hard time wrapping our head around the fact that we lost two... since we never really knew about the second. And saying two just seems that much more depressing.
Either way - the sadness will always be there but I will tell you - we have a 16 month little boy with another on the way... he wouldn't be here with us if the others had made it... that does help us make peace with the whole scenario. I hope you find your peace - keep trying when the doc says you can - your rainbow baby will come ❤❤❤

Hi everyone,
I've been off BC for quite a while now, and we've been NTNP, but my cycle was mostly regular so when a month ago I started having bad cramps and bleeding, I didn't think anything of it.

But they went on and on. As I was coming into the third week of bleeding, which had seemed to stop and start back up, I finally made a doctor's appointment and found that I had HCG in my system and the doctor announced I was pregnant. "Well, BS," I thought. "I've been bleeding for three weeks."

So I was/am miscarrying. I'm still spotting a bit and cramping, and I get incredibly worn out. While I do feel sad, I also thought that I was on my period, which by definition means there's not a baby, you know? At the doctor yesterday when I had an ultrasound to determine if I needed a D&C (I don't), it was a little more hard-hitting than it had previously felt.

Anyone else have an "I-didn't-even-know" miscarriage?
