My cycles were way different after I had my son. Now that he's 6, they still aren't quite the same as they were before. Because I'm on Metformin, they are pretty regular, but they are heavier and actually shorter than they were before I had him.

I don't know if this is the same as after having a baby, as I am only 6 weeks after birth, but when i miscarried my cycles were longer than before the miscarriage. They were like 15 days longer than before.

Still hanging out waiting. CD40 now. Not really feeling any signs of AF or pregnancy. I guess we'll see what happens! I have since researched and found that it is pretty common to have shorter, longer, intermittent, more cramping, less cramping, heavier, lighter, etc. etc. So who knows!

I had one AF at 3 months PP and then never again...I have heard that it is common, so if you don't have another for several months, don't be too concerned.

AF came back for me (even though I'm still nursing) last month. However, I am already confused about my cycle. If I trusted my phone app I'd be two days late right now but it would be HIGHLY unlikely I'm pregnant. Does anyone know if it takes a while for your cycle to regulate once AF returns after having a baby? I'm only on CD35 right now, so not crazy late, but I just don't know what to expect!
