2.6 lbs loss this week. Interestingly, I went to a Nuggets game, had a beer and brat, AND didn't run this week (stubborn head cold). Feeling like I dodged a bullet.

After looking at the BMR calculators here I've adjusted my goal. Looking to drop another 8 lbs and reach 172. That's what I weighed in high school when I was doing weight lifting!

Not that I can tell. I weigh daily, but record it here on Saturdays, since I have a spreadsheet on my laptop that tracks things for me... such as weekly loss. So, my day is Saturday. Crossing my fingers for a good week!

That feels like an accomplishment for me since the wife and I went out for the weekend... Friday to Sunday weight was 173 to 178! So to have a zero week, feels ok.

Last weigh-in was +1, but after a short "vacation" and a Super Bowl Party, I was actually pretty happy with that. I've been insuring that Monday's weigh-in will be better.

Hopped on the scale yesterday and it was not pretty. Up about 2.5. The Packers had me kinda nervous on Sunday. So I succumbed to stress eating. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

I must have done *something* right! I didn't get to run as much as I wanted what with the super cold (-19F) weather, but still came out ahead. I want to hit my 40lb mark this next week.

Wooho..what? I stepped up my cardio and strength training this week, and didn't up my calorie (~1000cal/day) intake (esp my protein). I think my body went into conservation mode or something?

Today I was at 235, half way to my goal. I've lost 25 pounds since mid-November. I didn't think I would lose this week, actually, because of one potato chip incident and last night's football party which resulted in too many beers and food from Chili's. I guess the little bit of extra cardio I did earlier in the week was enough to counter.

I chose Wed. as my weigh day, but was a little busy this week. So I weighed this morning and I'm less than last time, so I'm happy. I did eat some chips yesterday, but I also shoveled snow, so I guess it balanced out.

My first post in this group. Last weight: 241. Current weight 238. This is the first time since I quit smoking a few years ago that I've been under 240 pounds. I've been a lot more active than I've been in a long time and actually feeling pretty good. Only 3 more pounds to my halfway point!

Last week 199, this past Saturday 198. That includes a weekend of pretty much uncontrolled eating while on a short vacation, so I was expecting a small gain. I'll take it. Sometimes you just can't predict how these things are going to work out. Six more pounds to go, awesome to see '1' as the first digit on the scale, the trick is going to be keeping it there!

We went on a long-weekend vacation this weekend. So, I weighed in on Thursday morning instead of my usual Saturday morning.

Prior week: 202
Thursday: 199

199! I don't know when I last weighed below 200, but it's been at least since 1998. I remember that year going to the gym and weighing 205.

Anyway, when I go on vacation I allow myself to eat like a pig, because, well, it's vacation. We'll see what the damage was this Saturday, but I'll be surprised if I didn't gain a couple pounds.
