Met my first goalpost, losing 50% of my weight by my fall conference trip. I'm currently at 54% gone!

I have been tracking all my calories and staying in range and not letting my emotional times lead me to make poor food choices. I fluctuated up and down a bit, but, it's been working and the scale going steadily down. I'm so excited to get back into my favorite jeans (size 16, when I was wearing a 24 last year).

My main goals for the remainder of the year are to accurately log my food intake, get my water intake back up to where it should be, and focus on just 10 minutes of fitness per day (even on days that I'm tired...still working on that).

This year is to control emotional eating and drinking, and all that entails; standing up for myself, scheduling time to meal plan and prep, scheduling active minutes every day and not being derailed.

I also intend to lose weight. I've been averaging 1.7lbs per week since May, and I would like to maintain that. (29 more lbs before NY?)

I originally got a wake-up call about my weight when on my way to a conference in late 2014 (oh, yeah, needed a seatbelt extender). So, that conference (11 weeks away) is a goalpost for me. I'd like to reach 50% of my weight loss goal before then, though I won't be heart-broken if I don't, as I've been making steady progress.

While I might seem focused on the numbers, I just really like numbers and budgeting and signposts showing progress. I am really pleased with my increase in confidence since I started running. I hold myself more strongly already and know that will only increase, the faster and longer I go.

What are your goals for 2016?

To fit back into favorite clothes?
To reach a number on the scale? To maintain?
To improve a health marker?
To gain confidence?
To compete in a race or other sporting event?
To rub your awesomeness in the face of an ex?
To deal with emotional demons that have controlled you for too long?
