The low carb works for some, and not for all of us. My nephew went from a waist size 44 to a 28. Of course, he's 19. I tried it. Lost weight, but not eating fruit and vegetables got me.
I like them too much. When I started back all the weight came back.

My husband and I are both trying to eat low-carb foods and cut out the Pasta, Bread, Sweets, etc. It has been a struggle as our favorite foods is Spaghetti any kind of pasta and meat sauces, Fried foods, Potatoes, etc. We are taking one day at a time and going slowly trying to cut out different high carbs each day. low carb veggies - all green ? , cauliflower , & protein ... staying under 20 I can not eat any starches .. new meds are working - started thursday with a higher dose of trulicity so not hungry .. got carbs down now to get cals lower ..

I have to stay low on carbs, around 20, I do know some can eat higher amounts. You need to work your plan and see what works for you. I guess I am all or nothing these days. Due to the information out there I have removed a lot of things from my diet.
No sugar.
No grains.
No artificial sweeteners.
No potatoes-
Minimal milk products, sometimes butter and sour cream.
As I adjust I find removing almost all things manmade, my body feels better and I have fewer cravings.

google atkins 5 day soup .. it is good - I made 2 batches , froze one .. has taken days to thaw finally can have it for lunch & dinner - breakfast was muffin tin of zucchini lined, meat / tomato/ whipped eggs poured on and topped with cheese - excellent ( I used the left over dried tomato-1 and pepperoni -2 in each .. ate 2 for dinner after made and 2 for breakfast - froze 6 - made 2 batches ..

I too am jumping on the low carb bandwagon. I was surprised to find some of the veggies are so high in carbs. How low do you keep your carbs?

I am also! My husband is diabetic & I just need to lose 50 lbs, so have tried to eat low carb & eliminate sugar where I can. I have found that Pinterest has alot of good recipes that I have pinned & some that I have tried! Good Luck!
