If he was young, it is possible. His skin would have more elasticity to it..

I watched this video in Youtube the other day about this guy that lost more than 100 lbs without a skin problem. True or False? I don't know, but you can check at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CeZxsDI5Pc8

Thank you so much for the skin information. Do you suppose taking some extra Omega 3's will help. . Like cod liver, salmon oil in caps? I really did not make the correlation until you mentioned it. THANKS AGAIN.

I CAN do THIS!

I know it is sometimes hard getting back on track. Take it one day at a time. Good luck!

Thanks for the response. That was the first I heard of more likely having dry skin, it makes sense though. I will certainly be on top of that, my skin is already dry.

Your skin will get drier than normal because you eat less fat. Please use good quality moisturizers and make sure you take care of the skin. It will help later when you want to do something else.

Many people have elastic skin and although all of it won't get tighter, you may find that some of the skin "evens out" with time. If not, check with a good plastic surgeon and see what options you have.

Good luck.

The face ... if you never smoked (that's the killer) and are no older than 50-54 in time you might have slin retract. If you are an old smoker with major weight loss don't count on Mother Nature ....

I haven't needed to really have anything done to my face but I did have the "apron" removed after losing 130 lbs in 2000. My insurance company paid for all of it though it did take a good employee in the Dr office to keep bugging them on it-the reasons being is that hanging skin can cause infections under the apron and also cause back problems. Mine hung down onto my thighs. Luckily even though I was dumb enough to allow arthritis to help me gain 50 back, that belly hasn't grown like that. Trying hard to get it back off.

Could be that plastic surgery costs might be covered under health insurance if you've had weight loss surgery. Would hurt to check it out.

I Think you need to see a plastic surgeon. They have various treatments plus surgery. If there was a magic cream ... I would have found it by now.

I recently had weight loss surgery done and I want to do all I can for loose skin and facial wrinkles. I am already quite flabby. Any suggestions would be appreciated. PS I am new to this site.
