I know if I exercise in the morning its a lot easier for me to reach my water quota.

Well done on the steps!

I went swimming this morning. Swam for an hour. I practiced my form for 200 meters and then did 800 meters to work up my stamina. It was difficult to get my breathing done properly in the beginning but I think I figured it out near the end, it was a lot easier by the time I finished.

Going to add having water prior to eating to a spreadsheet.
Not only do I need to have at least 2 litres/day but also time consumption prior to eating.
Generally I start off each day ok, but by the time I get to my evening meal, I FORGET!!! emoticon

Track everyday - food, water, fitness emoticon
Eat within my calorie range at least 5 days a week. emoticon
Exercise* at least 30 minutes a day 5 days a week. emoticon
Swim 30 minutes at least once a week. emoticon
Drink at least 6 cups of water a day. 6 /7 (I was so close!)
Do daily 1-minute push up test. (goal 50 push ups in 1 minute) 1/7
Do a plank for as long as I can every day (goal: 5 minutes) 1/7
Try yoga. 0

*I changed walk at least 30 minutes a day to exercise 30 minutes a day.
I think I'll have to change the push-ups and planks from daily to every other day, my arms tend to be sore after I do them.

I did a lot better last week as compared to the week before. Unfortunately this week I have had a bad start. Yesterday was a holiday so my routine was thrown out of wack and I've eaten over my calorie range two days in a row and I didn't exercise yesterday or reach my water quota. Today though I walked this morning.

Happy Tuesday and second week of May! Has everyone doing with their goals?

Track everyday - food, water, fitness emoticon

I'm working being consistent with all my goals this week.

The good is I stepped on the scale this morning and was down .8 pounds from last week :) and I did my push ups and planks this morning and went walking.

Thank-you for the video Richard, I thought it was very interesting. I love beans (I could have them in breakfast, lunch, dinner) but my husband isn't a big fan. It won't stop me from adding it to my plate though! I believe we have a few cans in our pantry I'll have to do a quick inventory of what we got.

I'm not a fan of counting calories either Viv but I have to admit I think it is helping me be more aware of what I am eating and how much of it.

Have a large yard over all, but have a yard man to blow and go and trim hedges...My back yard garden is my domain, raised beds and some roses, orchids and veggies in season.

Counting calories is not something I dig, I eat as many veggies as I can raw..beans of all kinds are a must for me.

I dont know how challenging dieting or calorie reduction may be for you, but the answer may be as simple as eating more pulses(beans, peas, lentils chickpeas etc)

I've added squats and planks to my daily routine. I'll add lunges in there too :D.

And these three are really good cause they are gentle on my knees and ankles.

You can do it!

YESTERDAY
I did my 30 minute walk and my 30 minute swim. emoticon
The beach was great and I know which areas I need to work on strengthening now - thighs, arms, core.
I think I reached my 6 cups.
I also ate within my calorie range. (2/5 days) emoticon

TODAY
This morning I did my push up test (35 in 1 minute) and plank (made it to 1 minute 10 seconds). I also did my 30 minute walk.
