No i'm not into marshmallows either really but thought some may like the recipe if they do as a treat item. For sure I would add Dark chocolate. I love Aldi's Just organic Dark chocolate.

I think we can sometimes get caught up in the fact that we can't or should not have a sweet treat occasionally as it's not "diet friendly" if you like. but we do have to have a life as well and find that great balance.

Here is a recipe for when you want a treat. As I'm sure sometimes you feel like a treat and after all this lifestyle has to be sustainable for the rest of our lives and we do also have to enjoy life while being sensible.

Just be sure to have some and show some restraint and keep to the portion size.

Chocolate-Dipped Marshmallows



Leave the s'mores to the kiddos. Treat yourself to fresh marshmallows dipped in chocolate and topped with sweet and savory delights like coconut or pistachios. As for the topping you'll pick, the options are as broad as your imagination.

 
Yield: Makes 12

Ingredients

12 marshmallows
2 ounces semisweet chocolate, melted
3 tablespoons toppings (such as chopped pistachios, shredded coconut, and crumbled graham crackers)

Preparation

Dip half of each marshmallow in the melted chocolate, letting the excess drip off, then sprinkle with your desired toppings. Serve immediately or chill until firm, about 20 minutes.
