GOLDENROSE5, wow, how did the rope get split, must be too much friction between the gravel ground and the rope, hehe. Hope your rope arrives soon! I've never experience that but I did get the rope snap, probably from friction where this rope length adjuster "bite" the rope. Which is why I end up bought a heavier rope, hehe.
07-29 = 155x in 2-min, late afternoon. It was 2-min Interval, 2 sets of 50s jump / 10s rest. 1st minute, I did only 50x coz I had to adjust my loose pant and slipping bra strap and also someone interrupted my jump rope to get something somewhere near where I jumped. 2nd minute, I got 105x, yay! I did my jump rope as part of 7-min intervals (14 sets of 20s exercise / 10s rest), combining with core workout. What I did: Core workout #1 Jump Rope #1 = 45x Core workout #2 Jump Rope #2 = 40x Core workout #3 - 9 Jump Rope #3 = 40x Core workout #10 Jump Rope #4 = 40x I was so sleepy when I did the workout, perhaps because I ate too much on previous night that my body still need longer sleep to process the food, hehe. ### Fathin SN###

I did the same as yesterday and warmed up with 100 jumps in 56s & 150 jumps in 1:08.
For cool down I added them together and timed 250 jumps - 2:20. 3716 - 500 BALANCE = 3216 (& haha FATHIN, untangling your rope - I do that all the time!! Or I start my timer and forgot where I put my rope down! Duh!) Edited by: VW_STEPH at: 7/20/2013 (14:50)

07-19 = 2-min of 145x, night.
What I did was an 8-min intervals. 4 sets of 20s on mini tram / 10s rest, 20s burpees / 10s rest, 20s on elliptical / 10s rest, 20s jump rope / 10s rest. My jump rope = 25 - 40 - 45 - 40 (the first one, I had to spend precious seconds to untangle my rope!) ### Fathin SN###

I did two small sets of jump rope before and after my workout.
I did 100 jumps for time, followed by 150 jumps for time. Before my workout my times were 51s/1:03. After workout times were 48s/1:15. Improved on the 100 but not on the 150, too tired haha! 4116 - 500 BALANCE = 3716

I jump rope tonight while watching Miss Congeniality, as if I'm inspired to be into beauty pageant or as what they said in the movie, scholarship program, hehe. VW_STEPH, thanks :D And your calculation is correct, hehe. 07-09 = 335x Balance = 1586 - 335 = 1251x I did a 16 sets of 20s exercise / 10s rest where half was jump rope and half was burpees. I alternated 1-min between those two: Sets 01, 02, 05, 06, 09, 10, 13, 14 = JR = 45 - 42 - 45 - 40 - 43 - 42 - 35 - 43 = 335x Sets 03, 04, 07, 08, 11, 12, 15, 16 = Burpees = 5 - 5 - 5 - 5 - 5 - 5 - 5 - 4 = 39x = 39x (one more to get perfect 5s!) My goal for July 2013 is to do 3000 jumps!
I will be fasting for Ramadhan so even though I want to do more than 3000x, I still need to consider that I might need to preserve my energy while fasting :D ### Fathin SN###

Post your goals here, either it's total minutes or total jumps for July 2013. If you are a Beginner or a Restart, try to jump at least 2 minutes/day or 60x/day or total 60-min or 2000x.
