I like the recipes but I'm a real slacker on the blog. I should get busy because I've enjoyed reading the blogs from other members.

Hope to use your mantra! It is so hard to be consistent, I met my son tonight for supper at Subway, but I did ok, I had one of the lower fat and calorie subs, but I had planned on having a chicken breast and etc. I have to learn to deal with eating wherever I am, because we tend to eat out a lot!

You are very young, though now is your time!

I have created my Spark page, although it's a work in progress as most of the other team members are finding. And I wrote my first blog entry. My Spark page is probably my most favorite feature on the site because it's a special place all my own to be creative and express who I am. There's so much to do there and it can be a lot of fun.

Thanks for sharing this challenge with us and all the time you spend here with our team helping us get settled in and find our way around.

It is on the welcome screen (start page) at the bottom. You should find it there. Some where!!!
Also at the top of everypage you'll see my tools, healthy lifestyles, your health, and community. Click on Healthy Lifestyles then spark diet, fast break should be along there.

5andie,
Under My Tools, go to the Other Goals tab. Scroll down to Fast Break, should be at the bottom after your other goals (team). You should see a box (orange writing) that says "Add Remove Short Term Goals". When you click there it will take you to the page that lets you select your goals.

On the other goals, which are team goals you mark them each day you meet the goal. For example, this team's goals are drink 8 waters each day and blog 1 time per week. So, if you drink your water every day check it off every day. If you blog on Tuesday, then you would check that goal off on Tuesday. If you blog on Friday, also, check off Friday.

Hope this is clearer than mud for you. Let me know if you still need help after these directions.

This maybe the wrong place to ask this, but on my "Getting Started" page under "Where to Start" the second item is: 2. Track your Fast Break goals to build momentum. When I click on the link it takes me to the "Other Goals" page. There's nothing in there about "Tracking Your Fast Break Goals".

I have no idea what a fast break goal is, how to enter it or measure it.

Also, are we supposed to check those items off as we do them? How many times must it be done to check it off if so?

Edit My Sparkpage
On the left side at the top there should be 3 spots for photos
Click on one section, it should bring up your pics in your photo gallery
Choose one to upload to this spot
You can add a caption, too

5ANDIE, to get the signature and ticker you go to your SparkPage and Edit My Sparkpage. Look on the right hand side of the page, you will see a section Personal Signature. This is where you can put links, such as the ones in mine to other teams I lead. Some Sparkers put favorite quotes there. It is up to you what you want to put in your signature. To get the ticker, scroll further down toward the bottom of the page. You will see a section, My Weight Loss Ticker. To show the ticker you need to check, Yes! Show my weight loss ticker. Enter your starting weight and goal weight, my suggestion would be to start out with a small goal. You can always change your goal weight. Then pick out your ticker and background.
I hope this helps you. If you have any problems or further questions, please let me know.

I've been working on my page and I've uploaded some images. I'm a web developer so it always drives me a bit nuts to work within WYSIWYG editors.

The blog thing is going to be quite a bit more difficult! I can barely find my content let alone look at other peoples blogs for ideas--chuckle.

By the way, how do you get all the interesting stuff at the bottom of the messages?

Everyone's pages are looking good. Mine is going to be a work in progress this time around. I don't want to make promises and/or set my self up. Just some general parameters and we'll modify as we go, and hopefully feel my mood and energy change.
