Thanks for the information. You're right there is a lot of great information on that site.

While I have never joined a master's swimming group, I am aware of them. We have several in my area. One of the groups swim in the pool while we are playing underwater hockey, which is where I get my hard swimming in. I also have some friends who ocean swim 7 days a week, and occasionally the master's coach will hold a session in the ocean for a 1-2 mile swim and they will all swim together.

For everyone who swims, this is a great link for information on Master's Swimming programs.

United States Master's Swimming. They have info about everything for the older swimmer.
