I suffered with severe and frequent migraines until a doctor told me to add red peppers to my diet. I eat peppers a couple of times a week and use cayenne pepper instead of black pepper when seasoning my food at the table. The migraines slowed down in frequency and severity over time. Now instead of a migraine once every couple of weeks that would send me searching for a dark silent room, I get one maybe once every six months, and it only lasts a few hours instead of a couple of days.

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love, and of self-control.

My Friend uses oregano tea for headaches, but I'm not sure if they are tension or migraines.

I was given the tip of hot tomato soup with black pepper sprinkled in can use red pepper, buy my acid reflux can't handle red.

It opens up the veins and thins the blood enough to start moving better. Most prescription migraine medications are blood thinners..............I have had them all of my life.

The tomato soup trick works pretty well, but if you are in a full blown migraine, I can't promise anything.

True Cappacino or's the caffiene that kicks it there.

I don't know about migraines, fortunatly, I haven't been affected by them (and hope not to have to ever deal with them) but peppermint oil works wonders for a headache. I have actually found a great thing -- it is called a MyGrastick that has a combo of peppermint and lavender oil in it that works very well.

Someone else might have a better suggestion...

TG I've never had a migraine (touch wood), but a gal in my Clean Eating team has asked if anyone has any natural remedies for it. Anyone have any tried and true good ideas?

I'm just saying... Kelley
