Interesting answer. I was always told or I've read someplace that you should check with your doctor before you start any exercise program. Frankly, I've never asked my doctor if it was okay to exercise.

What do antioxidants neutralize?

Free Radicals

A surprise answer based on research!

• Correct Answer: False
Don’t let another excuse keep you from a healthy habit. Most people can go ahead and hit the gym. You should check with your doctor, though, if you:
--Are a man over 45 or a woman over 55, and you plan on doing vigorous workouts
--Have any medical problem such as diabetes or heart disease
--Have joint problems like arthritis
--Take blood pressure or heart meds

Good job on the answer!

Vitamin A is needed for night vision and helps the eyes adjust to lower levels of light. Lack of vitamin A may lead to night blindness, dry eyes, and eye infections, to name a few.

Answer:

In 1997, the National Academy of Sciences set an Upper Tolerable Intake Level (UL) for calcium of 2,500 mg a day. Too much calcium can cause kidney stones, high blood calcium, or impaired absorption of iron, zinc, or magnesium. But 2,500 mg a day isn't a target. Shoot for 1,000 mg a day if you're 19 to 50 and 1,200 mg a day if you're older than 50.
